Geocoding Service - The Statewide Addressing and Mapping project has resulted in the creation of many important GIS datasets, including point structure data and road centerline data. With the cooperation of The WV Emergency Management Division, the counties of West Virginia. The West Virginia GIS Technical Center has used these two datasets to create three geocoding services for West Virginia. These locator services utilize both address point locations and addressed road data. The WV Addressing Location Services are updated annually. Last updated July 2021.
